Facade decor of concrete, fiber reinforced concrete, cast stone.
First there was a great and mighty period of construction with its typical decor, then the period of «rebirth» came, when market of building materials became quite wide and the advanced foreign technologies came to us, but today we are increasingly confronted with the fact that the facade decoration no longer surprises us, and becomes boring and somehow monotonous. Red ashlar brick doesn’t already cause admiration for anyone, but everyone wants to decorate the house’s facade, because this is a kind of «visiting card» of a good owner. And then, when anything new seemed already impossible to invent, long forgotten but no less actual kinds of facade decoration came to the rescue, as usual. Since olden times they decorated facades of ancient palaces and public offices, as well as temples and houses of worship, palaces of notables and other architectural masterpieces.
Nowadays, facade decoration is a very actual trend, which becomes more and more popular every day. The reason is simple — not to remain indifferent when looking at majestic columns, fanciful stucco moldings, small sculptural forms and other elements that attest to the luxury and unsurpassed aesthetic taste of the owner.
It’s fashionable to perform the house’s facade decoration in the style of Baroque and classicism, using all the variety of techniques and forms. There are lots of ways to decorate the facade of a building, but the most popular of them are:
- stucco moldings and other various elements of gypsum or polystyrene;
- decorative metal products;
- decorations of natural and cast stone.
It’s completely natural that today lots of people prefer to use not ready solutions from artificial materials, but to use works of specialists who create unique masterpieces in a single copy, individually for each order. Among other things, stucco moldings on the buildings’ facades, are not only distinguished by aesthetics, but also by good qualitative and operation parameters. Factually, such a monumental art doesn’t have any experience date, but also can be always reconstructed or restored.
The most modern techniques
In addition to the fact that specialists of our company create unique facade decorations of clay, stone and other materials, in our work we use the most progressive techniques and methods, as well as the most modern decorative materials. Facade decoration is performed in several steps:
- preparation of the surface in process;
- leveling of a surface;
- chemical or mechanical fastening of decorative elements;
- seam sealing;
- joints treatment;
- finishing, etc.
Finishing and colouring of the gypsum stucco work is a topic of a separate conversation, as here there are many options, allowing creation of various non-standard solutions. For example, decorative facade can be artificially aged, thanks to the use of patination techniques, or can be performed, using gilding techniques, which looks particularly impressive. Anyhow, cooperation with our specialists is always a creative process, in the course of which original solutions and creative ideas are born each time.
