Metal embossing – what is it?

Metal chasing is a very ancient form of artistic art, which has never gone out of fashion. Today it is customary to distinguish two techniques of chasing:

– volumetric;

– flat.

Flat chasing is characterised by insignificant relief in contrast to volumetric chasing, the relief of which is quite high. Relief image looks more favourable from the point of view of the plot of works and their aesthetics, but this type of work does not allow, unlike flat chasing, to create openwork patterns. It is openwork chasing on metal that is considered the most complex and popular and is considered a sign of high artistic style of the product and high skill of the artist. In their work our masters use only quality materials, such as: copper, titanium-zinc, cast bronze.

The technique of through-punching allows, without exaggeration, to create a real lace of metal, in which the elegance and strength of steel merge into a unique refined combination.
